Please Note: All DJ's
listed here are experienced in providing a range of music for
different age-groups.
All of our DJs come with
high quality sound equipment, at least two lighting effects and a wide
selection of popular music. Our DJs also have different areas of
expertise beyond the usual broad-appeal pop rock and pop classics - if
you specifically want someone who can bring a particular style of
music to your function then please let us know and we will provide the
appropriate DJ.

DJ Andrew
Andy has been in the entertainment and DJ biz for many
years. He really knows his stuff. He is also a keyboard player
and has performed with some of Auckland's top bands. Andrew owns
and provides his own sound system, decks and lights - all top
quality gear. Andrew is one of our top choices for corporate
events and school balls and is very experienced with wedding
receptions.

Tony recently rejoined the discoTech ranks after a few years
away. He has worked as a sound engineer in various studios and
has over 15 years of experience as a DJ. He has a great ability
to read the crowd's mood and provide the right music. Tony is
heavily booked so let us know if he is your first pick and we
will check availability and reserve him for you.

DJ Cade
Cade has a background
in sound design, digital video production & camera work. Music
has been his lifelong passion and DJing is his dream occupation. He has a good broad knowledge of classic &
new music, and has experience with weddings, 21st's & private
dance parties. Having worked as a bartender he enjoys an
audience and will use all his skills to get that dance floor
full and make your party a success.

DJ Pete
37 year old Pete is very experienced with over 20 years in the business.
Pete's extensive experience ranges from nightclub DJ'ing to panel operating and announcing for Prime Media Radio Stations, to DJ'ing
for top cruise lines including P&O Cruise ships. He has an
extensive knowledge of most music with a vast library of CD's
ranging from 1930's music through to today. His lighting and
sound system can include a movable mirror ball (for a small
extra charge). He has vast experience with Weddings, 21st's,
School Functions and Corporates.

Jason
Jason is one of the few DJ's in the country who has been successful across different musical scenes. This is testament to his experience and musical knowledge. He plays at some of the best & biggest House music events in the country, but can also be found playing funk, disco, soul, reggae and anything else that gets the party going. Born and raised in London, Jason's early love of Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop led him into DJ'ing. By 1992, he was a regular fixture at London's Ministry of Sound, maintaining a residency there on Saturday nights for nearly five years. His vast experience draws from DJ'ing every week with some of the best DJ's in the world, including Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, Eric Morillo and many more. Now living in and loving New Zealand, you can hear him play on his show "Groovadelica" every Monday morning on Auckland's George FM 96.8 |

DJ Shay
Shay returned to discoTECH from his job as the retro DJ for
the Sydney P&O Cruise ship 'Pacific Sun'. His experience and
abilities with all types of functions that require a large range
of music make Shay a great choice as a DJ for weddings &
corporate events. 28 year old Shay is also perfect for 21st
birthday events. He is a talented musician, and has a great feel
for choosing the appropriate music for any occasion. He puts
110% into each function and will work hard to ensure your event
is a success!
Due to other work commitments DJ Shay is only occasionally
available during 2009. Please let us know if he is your first
choice and we will check availability.

DJ George Brown Thirty-something
George looks and performs like a league star. Motivated,

is very personable and friendly and consistently receives great
reviews of his performance

Alan Duval
If you
have relatives getting married in England, Alan is your man or
if your English relatives are coming to NZ to get married they
could meet with Alan for advice. Previously helping to manage
Discotech, Alan is a Kiwi DJ with over 15 years experience. Alan
has Certificate of Music Production has also performed in bands
and worked in music retailing. Alan is a walking musical library
- if we need to know who performed a particular song and where
to find it, we ask Alan!
Update: Alan will be returning to New Zealand in October
2010 and we are now taking bookings for him for events from
October 2010.

DJ David J. Oakes
UNAVAILABLE THROUGH 2010
30 year old David
Oakes has performed at a large variety of events for discoTECH
and has good, broad knowledge of music and has had many years in
the hospitality business here in NZ & abroad. D. J. by name &
DJ by nature, David was destined to become a disc jockey. David
has a Scottish background, and is quite happy to wear his kilt
should this be required! If you have a James Bond theme to your
party, David does a fantastic Sean Connery accent!
